The Tepi is the long Rapé Sacred Snuff applicator that is used to administer the medicine to another person. It comes in many shapes and sizes but in the end boils down to the fact that there is two sides, one goes in your mouth and the other in the receivers nostril. There are many different kinds of blows, two of the most common ones are the Beija Flor and the Jiboiá. The first is a short direct blow, the so called Beija Flor or Humming Bird The second is a slow long blow creeping up like a snake, that is why it is called the Jiboia or the Boa constrictor. Blowing Rapé is an art and should be done with caution and serenity. More information will soon to be found on our blog and is available online.
