Kuntanawa Força is a unique and powerful Kuntanawa Rapé, truly Shamanic Snuff. A pleasant deep medicine with a good balance of tobacco and Tsunu ashes. It gets the gentle scent from a local herb that goes by the name of Apuxuri. They add it to give an uplifting freshness. A beautiful strong medicine guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
Apuxuri is the Kuntanawa version of Pixuri or Puxuri. A plant that in english is known as Brazillian nutmeg, at least the seeds, in Rapé production they normally use the leaves. The botanical name is Licaria puchury.
Each tribe and region give slightly different or completely different names to the same or similar herbs. Sometimes it is dialect, sometimes because of indigenous traditional names. Many times it is because the names are phonetic and when writing it down they simply start writing it slightly different or have an other pronunciation. Herbs like Pixuri or Apuxuri used in Rapé Snuff production have also slight variations per region. Although close by they do differ based in the soil, slight genetic changes and so on.
It is related to Nissural and Katsural, all giving a freshness to the Hapé. They are all plants helping with and used for energetic cleansing. Good flavour and useful!
