Caboclo Rapé – Paricá Snuff
Our Paricá blend is not for the weak hearted, it is a powerful medicine to go deep. Rapé blends of late have become overall stronger and stronger; this was one of the first blends to be of this powerful variety. It is energetic and grounding. When taking a bit more it takes you all the way. Made with artisanal Rustica and ashes from the bark of a tree locally known as Paricá (not to be confused with the Yopo snuff that is sometimes also known as parica), also known as Xixá. This Rapé is made by one of the better non-indigenous Rapé crafters of the region. Growing up deep in the forest he started working as a youngster tapping rubber, saw a city for the first time when he was sixteen; he is a great connoisseur of the forest, it’s flora and it’s medicines.

Caboclo
The people called Caboclos are the fruit of the historical syncretic relations dating back to the post-colonization period of our continent, bringing the fusion of the Indigenous, European and African elements. This is where the experience of new nuances of tastes and knowledge fuses the molds of their origins giving us an experience of the elements presented here. In this mixture of peoples that is the population of the Amazon we find some great Rapé crafters making beautiful medicine bringing their own cultural influences.
