Kuntanawa

The Kuntanawa call themselves the People of the palm fruit, or the People of the Stars. This ethnic group is lives in the State of Acre in the Alto Juruá Indigenous Reserve, on the Tejo river, in the municipality of Marechal Thaumaturgo, where it is distributed in the villages: Kuntamanã and 7 stars. It is estimated that its total population reaches around 400 Kuntanawa. They have a wonderful variety of Shamanic Snuffs, Rapés with a great variety of flavors and uses, apart from some very crafty hand workers who make some beautiful accessories.
