More about Shamanic Snuff – Spiritual Tobacco Free
Our own special blend that contains special herbs, Tsunu ashes, and Trevo Cumaru, Sacred Connection’s Spiritual Shamanic Snuff – Spiritual Tobacco Free is the right rapé for you if you desire to undergo a journey into the higher worlds of the cosmos. Although this isn’t a psychoactive blend, it takes inspiration from tribal recipes that are used to enhance the journeys people undergo during ceremonial rites of energetic cleansing and alignment of ethereal, subtle realms.
It has an incredible, pleasant smell that comes from the use of Justicia pectoralis, a small plant with pointy leaves and analgesic properties that is more commonly known as Trevo Cumaru, Chambá, or Piri Piri in Peru. Trevo Cumaru is also believed to bring forth the spirit of working (as the Shipibo tribe, in Peru, says) as well as being a female aphrodisiac (according to the Yanomami, in Brazil) that is used in certain potions meant for inciting attraction.
Another prime component of the Spiritual Snuff blend is Bobinsana, a master plant (a plant with particularly powerful healing and spiritual powers) that is part of the Shipibo tribe’s traditions, diets, and is sometimes even added to the making of their own Ayahuasca. It is said to lead into a pathway of opening one’s heart into ethereal realms and the welcoming of compassion and spiritual guidance.
This rapé is quite special to us, as it is the latest culmination of all the learning that was shared with us by representatives of different cultures and tribes, all masters in the craft of natural, sacred healing. This blend combines a carefully selected variety of ancient medicinal beliefs and herbs that results in an offering of spiritual growth and the opening of people’s hearts to welcome a more fulfilling, overflowing, legitimate love.

AWIRY:
Awiry is a plant often used by the Apurinã tribe in the making of their rapé, and it is considered to be some kind of wild tobacco. It usually brings a rich, green undertone to most rapé blends, and it can only be harvested during the dry seasons, as riverbanks recede and the plant can be reached. Unlike the sort of nicotine used in regular cigarettes, for example, Awiry is neither fermented nor heated, but instead left to dry naturally before being ground up and passed through a sieve, so its vibrant green color can be preserved even as a fine powder.
Shamanic snuffs that make use of Awiry are often used in spiritual rituals, ceremonies, and healing rites, especially by the Apurinã tribe, since it is a source of medicinal healing and energetic enhancement and grounding for an improved connection with the divine, and better balance and greater well-being. Such blends can be used for the strengthening of one’s spirit, mind cleansing, improved focus, stress and anxiety reduction, and as a treatment for certain respiratory issues and forms of headache.
While the Apurinã, as it was mentioned before, use Awiry in the making of their rapé, their blend formula involves a small amount of ashes in addition to a greater percentage of Awiry. For Sacred Connection’s tobacco free line, the ratio of Awiry to other components (such as ashes) follows the standard recipe for blends that typically contain tobacco: the blends are made primarily of the other medicinal components listed in the description of each product, and a small amount of Awiry (equivalent to that of tobacco in our other lines).
