INÚ, Canto do filho da Onça – Xití Nukini

Literature, audio and video recordings are the new elements that have entered indigenous cultures to disseminate their knowledge and traditions, reinforcing the aspect of exchange and permanence of their cultures.

Xití Nukini is a man of many talents, a young leader of the Nukini, master Rapé crafter and holder of ceremony. This CD is composed of studio recordings from the medicine songs he sings when in ceremony.

The Nukini are known as the “People of the Jaguar”, in Brazil a Jaguar is called “Onça”, as such the subtitle translates as “Song of the son of the Jaguar”.
